Public Administration is a long-standing area of research and teaching strength at the University of Canberra and the Canberra College of Advanced Education - the esteemed Emeritus Professor Roger Wettenhall first arrived in 1971 at the then School of Administrative Studies.

Theme leader, John Halligan, is Research Professor of Government and Public Administration in the Faculty of Business and Government.  His own particular interests include whole of government, corporate governance in the public sector and comparative public sector reform.
